Product Designer

Full time (Remote, North America)

Spreadsheet.com is reinventing the spreadsheet to become the fabric of collaborative work. This is an opportunity to play a role in evolving one of the most-used business applications in history, the “killer app” that ushered in the PC era.

As the first member of our design team, you’ll be involved in every user-facing aspect of our product and company. This will range from the design of new product features, mobile apps, and more.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Taking ownership of product design. You'll own product design end to end, and will help build our web, mobile, and tablet apps.
  • Building out stunning brand assets from a spreadsheet template marketplace and other visuals for highly engaging landing pages, to emails, blog posts, and beyond.
  • You’ll have a voice in the branding process to make sure that our product and brand design are consistent.
  • Defining problems and mapping out solutions. Observe pain points, break down challenges, and prototype interactions. Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to create faster and easier ways for users to work in Spreadsheet.com.

What we’re looking for

  • Product design experience at a SaaS company with a notable design practice.
  • An exceptional individual contributor who will create and execute their own work.
  • Desire to establish a design function and potentially build a team over time.

What we offer

  • Full medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid family leave
  • Distributed team, remote work
  • Generous, flexible vacation

Working at Spreadsheet.com

Our vision is to empower anyone to quickly and easily create solutions for collaborative work. We think the best way to accomplish this is with a product that leverages how most people already work together. That’s why Spreadsheet.com has the same familiar interface and features that hundreds of millions of spreadsheet users already know — but with a whole new set of database and project management capabilities that go far beyond traditional spreadsheet products.

If you’re as excited as we are about the future of collaborative work, we’d love to hear from you. We’re funded by well-known Silicon Valley venture capital firms and looking for a diverse group of people with a passion for spreadsheets, a healthy penchant for questioning the status quo, and an eagerness for empowering people to create.
