Freelance Illustrator for TV Pilot

Seeking Talented Freelance Illustrator for Food Series Pilot

We are looking for an uncommonly talented freelance illustrator to create the graphics for a pilot episode of new food / culinary / chef interview series. Experience with graphics for documentaries or docuseries or reality television a plus, as is basic knowledge of motion graphics and or animation.

While our budget is limited as we are a young production company, the project is high profile, the subject matter is fun, and it is likely to see wide distribution. If we like working together, it will lead to additional episodes to create graphics, illustrations, and animations for.

DETAILS: We meet on Zoom to explain the subject, themes, and look and feel of the series.  Then, with our guidance, you create:

-an opening sequence (with graphics, stylized photos, and/or animation)

-a template for lower-thirds graphics to use throughout the episode

-three to five graphics and/or animations for quick, explanatory cutaways during the episode

-a pie chart and rating meter in the same look and feel

We expect a few rounds of revisions, so the illustrator needs to be prompt, easy to work with, and able to start soon and finish in two weeks or less.

PAYMENT: $500 flat fee

TO APPLY: see link below

1] What skills distinguish you from the multiplicity of illustrators out there?

2] What evidence do you have that provide the kind of eye-catching, network-caliber luster that a lesser illustrator cannot offer?

3] Anything else that we should know?

4] Please provide links to your resume and best illustration work.

If we like what we see, we will set up a Zoom interview.  We look forward to hearing from you!
