About the Role
Abilitie is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our innovative and dynamic team. As a Senior UI/UX Designer at Abilitie, you will be pivotal in crafting user-centric designs for our leadership development products and services with a global footprint, including gamified simulations. Your expertise will enrich our clients' experiences, including over 40 Fortune 500 companies. You will set the vision for the user experience and create the space for others to collaborate.
What You Will Do
Create web application designs that are highly interactive -- web-based simulations and SaaS platforms.
Develop UI guidelines for use across the organization.
Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches.
Let users lead the way; let their needs guide you to the best solutions.
Be actively involved in defining design strategy by advocating for UI/UX patterns that are world-class.
Create new and improved user experiences that are intuitive and accessible, ensuring our diverse users efficiently use our products.
Translate complex ideas into user-friendly designs that are easy to navigate.
Work closely with engineers and product managers to create prototypes and refine existing products.
Develop storyboards, prototypes, and mock-ups to communicate design ideas effectively.
Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure all designs meet client and user requirements.
Analyze user feedback and activity and iterate to enhance the user experience.
Who You Are
You have a proven track record with a portfolio that showcases your ability to solve design challenges with creativity, efficiency, and user-centricity.
You ideally have 5+ years of experience in UI/UX Design
You have mastered design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.
You deeply understand user-centered design principles, excellent visual design skills, and a knack for turning complex problems into simple and engaging customer experiences.
You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment – adjusting quickly to shifting priorities and tight timelines.
You are an effective communicator and presenter who can articulate design decisions and processes openly and confidently, regardless of the audience.
