GRAPHIC DESIGNER, Medusa Distribution Brands — Roseland, NJ

Primary Purpose: This person will ideate, develop and execute both digital and print creative concepts.
Job Summary:
Design digital content for Medusa brands’ social channels and websites. Content includes homepages, product pages, editorial landing pages and web banners.
Design print content such as: packaging, in-store collateral and catalogs.
Partner with Creative leads on day-to-day creative updates and site changes.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and development of those ideas (i.e.: new product launches, customer experiences, marketing campaigns, etc.)
Maintain and continually develop systems and styles across multiple brands.
Skills:
Proficiency in: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma
A refined taste level and expertise in design, color and typography skills.
Strong understanding of responsive design.
Ability to take direction from Art Directors and provide multiple solutions.
Ability to concept design solutions with limited direction.
Ability to prioritize with tight deadlines and follow through.
Ability to think outside the box and have awareness of digital trends.
Extremely detail oriented, well organized, strong problem-solving skills.
Team player with positive “can-do” attitude.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Knowledge of e-commerce is a plus.
Knowledge of After Effects or Video/Animation softwares is a plus.
Drawing/Illustration skills are a plus.
Experience:
2-4 years’ experience in a related field or position.
BFA / BA in Design, Digital Design, Fine Art or equivalent skills experience
Experience working for an in-house brand or ad agency is a plus.
Salary: Competitive salary, commensurate to experience $50,000-$80,000
