UX/UI Designer (m/f/d)

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is one of three divisions of the Rolls-Royce Group and offers its customers propulsion and power solutions for the future. Location: MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH, Friedrichshafen

Temporary contract: 1 Year

Your tasks and duties:

  • Design products based on user-centric approach that supports business goals and increase usability and the level of adoption rate
  • Support and engage in user research, including planning and conducting e-validation, expert review and usability testing
  • Design mockups, interactions, mood boards and storyboards
  • Support strategy to create robust and consistent UX
  • Define design briefs, establish communication with third parties and govern design process
  • Support products and services by governing a user-centered, high-quality, brand-aligned design system
  • Be Intrinsically be motivated to research and bring to the table new, future trends in design and industry

Your qualifications should be:

  • University Degree in Design with emphasis on UX or equivalent working experience in UX/UI role
  • Lo-fi & hi-fi prototyping skills, and strong visual design skills
  • Proficient and highly skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch and other design tools
  • Ability to prototype in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, After Effects, or other tools is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Open mindset, enthusiasm and interest in working in an agile and digital work environment
  • Headquarters in Friedrichshafen but further digital hub in Munich planned
