UX/UI Designer

As part of the design team at Osedea, you will be working on UX/UI projects spanning a variety of diverse industries. You will have the opportunity to work with internal and external teams and will have a large impact on mobile, web and experimental solutions that reach thousands of people.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients, users and stakeholders to define user needs
- Participate in and lead Design Thinking workshops with client teams
- Produce user flows, site maps, mood boards and design systems
- Produce sketches, wireframes and prototypes
- Present and test work with developers, clients, users, and fellow designers
- Participate in quality assurance practices with developers throughout production
- Assist the marketing team with internal brainstorming sessions and the design of promotional content
Key qualifications
Hard skills
- Portfolio to prove your skills
- Ability to produce user flows and site maps using Omnigraffle (or equivalent software)
- Ability to produce wireframes, design systems and prototypes using Sketch and InVision
- Ability to produce visuals and promotional content using Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects (or similar software)
Knowledge
- Knowledge of UX methodologies, theory and best practices
- Understanding aspects of visual design such as typography, page layout, iconography, colour palettes, and branding
Soft Skills
- Experience staying organized and focused on fast-paced and deadline-driven environments
- Ability to communicate ideas, concerns and opinions with others and an openness to feedback at all stages of the design process
- Strong sense of ownership and a passion for finding optimal design solutions that address both user and business needs
