Product Designer

Hi there! We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Barcelona office.

Product Designers at North work across boundaries, owning entire projects throughout research to user experience and visual design. They are deeply user-centered, and enjoy spending time to understand user needs and business goals as much as crafting a creative solution.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Working together with Partners and Product Managers to understand business goals and key metrics and define how they translate to design
• Owning all design aspects for a project from beginning to end
• Doing your own research and conducting user interviews to validate concepts
• Collaborating closely together with clients, through rounds of feedback 
• Creating prototypes and designing high-fidelity interactions
• Keeping an extraordinary level of attention to detail at every step of the process 

You will bring to the table:

• Outstanding execution and care for all aspects of design, from conceptual thinking to interaction and visual design
• Ability to communicate design rationale to clients. You can articulate the ‘why’ and lead discussions around your process, explorations, and conclusions.
• Strong knowledge of UX principles and best practices, including understanding when and where different methodologies and techniques should be incorporated into the design process
• Effective, confident and concise written and verbal communication skills — in Spanish and English
• Knowledge of Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and prototyping tools. Big plus if you have experience with motion design or illustration.
