Front End Developer, Product Designer
We are looking for a talented front-end developer to Join our team, first on a project basis, and possibly as a full time commitment. We are creating a bespoke application for the Jewelry industry from scratch.
- Project one , short simple ask. - Code an existing designed website that will communicate through a javascript API with a laravel framework.
- Project two, a Multi Tenant ERP System - Large Project
With the support and direction of a technical manager you don't have to code on the server side but understand the data and workflow process, demonstrate good programming skills, a keen eye for detail and the desire to learn and solve problems.
Skills Required
You will need to be a passionate Front-End Developer / Full Stack Developer / Web Designer or similar who can demonstrate:
- Expert knowledge of VueJS or ReactJS, HTML, SCSS, Javascript
- Experience building an API powered SPA content management system
- Workflow based on Git, NPM, Webpack, Postman, etc.
- Passionate about creating elegant data-driven components and interfaces in cooperation with a designer and back-end developer.
- A keen eye for detail and an appreciation for a simple and elegant aesthetic.
- An ability to use design tools such as Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc to facilitate team conversation, feedback and buy-in on UI/UX decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with a willingness to brainstorm, advise, coach and take direction.
- Problem solving ability with analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
Beneficial, but not essential:
- Experience with PHP, Laravel, AWS, MySQL, and/or Multi-tenant load-balanced applications
- Experience with designing UI/UX for ecommerce and payment service integrations (Shopify, Stripe, Authorize.net, etc)
