Squint/Opera is unique in having a wide variety of talent in-house, from designers and 3D artists, to animators and software developers and everything in between. 

Summary

As a Digital Designer / Visualiser your primary role will be to bridge the gap between disciplines and support the creative team, translating design-direction into high-quality visuals and assets. You will be producing graphics and imagery for film, animation, print, digital and experiential content, for both pitches and production. 

Responsibilities

  • Preparing visuals, concepts and mock ups in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Providing creative input on projects and show ability to create visual from a wide range of assets and graphics.
  • Creating / formatting documents and presentations 
  • Prepare graphic assets for digital media & animation in accordance with direction and look & feel

Qualification/ Experience

  • A portfolio demonstrating a solid background in digital design and visualising
  • 2+ years digital graphic design / visualising experience in an agency or other creative environment. Exhibition media would be a bonus.
  • Good eye for aesthetics and design
  • Excellent Adobe CC technical skills (Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Excellent understanding of Google Suite & Keynote (Gdocs, Gsheets, Gslides)
  • After Effects skills would be a bonus
  • Sketchup or C4D would be a bonus
  • UX/UI understanding and experience also desirable
