UI/UX Designer

Boco Digital Media, LLC is seeking an experienced Mid-to-Senior level User Experience Designer who will be responsible for working closely with internal project and development teams on the execution of client deliverables with a strong focus on digital and app development. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 plus years of user interaction and experience design.

The User Experience Designer will be responsible for developing UI and design solutions that meet client and user needs, document user experience strategies and approaches original design concepts as well as overseeing project design through final execution. The User Experience Designer will participate in presenting work to clients when required and represent Boco Digital’s visual design process and exceptional execution to digital solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop creative concepts and directions from creative/project briefs
Ensure exceptional design execution, translating wireframes to successfully crafted visual design
Present clear ideas and concepts to clients and other team members
Proactively update Senior Management on project and deliverable status
Design new feature requests and improve upon existing UI/UX within core products
Design websites and other collateral for internal training
Create compelling layouts for extensive proposals and pitches while following Boco Digital brand standards
Parse through limited content to brainstorm conceptual products and designs
Design and validate user interfaces/experiences for multiple platforms across websites, apps, mobile, and more
Develop information architecture deliverables (site maps, taxonomies, flow diagrams)
High level sketching, concepting and storyboarding
Design wireframes and create interactive prototypes
Adapt creative thought process and designs to meet client changes
Have a strong understanding of responsive web design, interactive front-end technologies, and browser/platform constraints
Have a passion for keeping up with the latest design and UI trends

Education/Experience

3-5 years as a practicing UX professional
Degree focused on Design or User Experience
Take in criticism and apply it to designs
Knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word)
A strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and principles required
Great communication skills – able to present work and findings to internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors
Collaboration with development team to design the user interaction model, information architecture, and user interfaces
Strong ability to solve problems collaboratively within a small team, but also able to execute independently and make strong recommendations
Attention to detail with excellent critical thinking, logic and analytical skills
Able to meet tight deadlines and manage ambiguity and an ever-changing landscape
Balances and appreciates both the qualitative and quantitative sides of user experience
Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required
