Design Intern (Brand + Product)
Voyager is seeking a Design Intern to join our design department. This position will report to the Creative Director and will be working on assets for both the Marketing and Product teams. You will participate throughout a project’s entire creative process and work on diverse projects that spread across brand and product design including UX/UI. You are a passionate, curious and detail-orientated designer who is ready to dive into our lively start-up environment in the fintech industry.
Responsibilities:
- Concept and design various campaign graphics for Marketing initiatives (imagery for blog headers, emails, social media, infographics, GIFS)
- Collaborate on creating website UI, landing pages
- Email template design (some HTML/CSS)
- Ideate UX/UI for new app features, present prototypes
- Design various digital ad units
- Maintain consistent branding and styling across all external facing materials by following guidelines in the Brand Guide
- Turn high quality work around within timelines provided
- Sketch initial concepts and take them through to launch and beyond
Experience:
- College student or recent graduate from a communications/art or design program
- A portfolio showcasing work with a strong command of typography and layout with a focus on digital design experiences and responsive mobile design
- Experience using Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to write some front end code: HTML/CSS and JavaScript, a plus
- Knowledge of current trends in design and technology
- Animation skills in After Effects, a plus
- An entrepreneurial attitude
