Senior Motion Graphic Designer
The Discord family is looking for a handy Motion GFX Designer to create visual 2D and 3D effects for videos and trailers and other forms of media for the internal stakeholders. This role is also responsible for some post-production editing, audio post-production, asset capture, and asset management.
You will interface with marketing and other internal client staff to brief, schedule, produce and manage final deliverables for internal and external use. You may also high-five some people.

What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with internal partners (Marketing and internal stakeholders) to produce & edit compelling video presentations, including but not limited to:
- Video trailers for Communications and Marketing needs.
- Excelled Motion Graphics for slates, bumpers, transitions, mnemonics, etc.
- Gameplay footage capture and edit sessions.
- Audio Production, Post-Production, VO Recording.
- Video compression, formatting and understanding of all deliverable needs.
What you should have
- 5+ years Motion Graphics experience in an entertainment/gaming in-house team or agency.
- Expert knowledge of the Adobe Suite and Cinema 4D; familiarity with Maya or other tool sets a plus.
- A strong understanding of the creation of inspiring visual effects and should exhibit creativity, technical and artistic skills.
- Ability to pick up new software and tools quickly.
- Familiarity with AV Post Production workflows.
- Self-starter with an ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent organization and time management; able to prioritize large volume of work effectively and efficiently with tight deadlines.
- A critical eye and appreciation of how to appropriately use effects in video and other mediums and their appropriate spaces.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience with Photoshop, After Effects, Cinema 4D and any other 3D programs.
- Portfolio or reel required with application.
