The Role: 

Support the Creative Team in building Milk Makeup visual brand experience through design and the development/execution of 360 marketing campaigns and programs - from concept to execution across all touchpoints - in-store, gondola, print collateral, event materials, OOH, site, email, paid media, social and video.


What YOU’ll do:

  • Brand Builder: Partners with Creative/Art Directors to develop and build a strong brand visual language. Supports in brand execution to ensure consistency across brand through all channels.
  • Strategic Thinker: Partners with Creative/Art Director to develop 360 creative strategy to support business goals. Supports in integration design/production across all channels including, but not limited to: in-store, gondola, print collateral/direct mail, event materials, OOH, site, email, paid media, social and video.
  • Creative Collaborator: Partners closely with Editorial Director and Art Directors to develop and execute creative concepts for robust 360 client experience.
  • Cross-functional Partner: Helps to build relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure strategic objectives are met.
  • Design Expert: Executes projects with thoughtful and elevated design. Understands design and typographic fundamentals and provides new and exciting design solutions and POV. Proficient in working across different mediums including, print, digital, motion, editing and retouching.
  • Passionate Creative: Works to further design and art direction expertise. Spends time educating oneself in industry knowledge i.e.. photographers, models, agencies and honing design and typographic skills.
  • Production Expert: In-depth knowledge and experience in 360 production including versioning and QC mechanicals across print and digital. Prepare final files for delivery to cross functional teams and retail partners across local and international markets. 


We’d like YOU to have:

  • 2-3+ years of creative experience at beauty/fashion brand or creative agency.
  • College degree; BA or BFA preferred in Graphic Design or Communication Design.
  • Passion for art direction.
  • Knowledge and expertise in retail and digital space.
  • Understanding of beauty and fashion.
  • Understanding of photography and knowledge of relevant industry talent.
  • Understanding of current industry related trends.
  • Understanding of design, typography and layout principles, environmental graphics,
  • digital best practices and production process.
  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines.
  • Team player: Enjoys working with others and collaborating with a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent presentation skills at both team and leadership levels.
  • Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities.
  • Proficient knowledge of all Adobe programs: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and XD, After Effects. Premiere proficiency is a huge plus. 
  • Adept at translating approved design concepts into multiple sizes/formats to ensure continuity.
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and meet very tight deadlines.
  • The drive to excel and succeed; self-motivated.
