Designer (Services)

You are happiest working within established systems. Enjoy being able to push creative across different sizes, languages, and medium types. When you see something that could be systematized or could benefit from guidelines/ rule setting you build the systems/ documentation. You are eagle eyed. You can spot a miss kerned word from a mile away. Baseline grids? More like Baeline grids.


Designers in the Services team don’t struggle with the age old question “do I deliver quantity or quality?” The answer for this person is always “why not both?” You know how to systematize your work so that you can quickly spin up creative across a wide range of localization, sizes, templates and constraints. We are making massive changes into our brand, creative organization, and processes. What you will own:

As a Designer in our Services design team at Linktree, you’ll be working closely with various members and teams to achieve your goals. Every day, you will work with the Studio, Growth and Motion teams which all sit within our Brand Creative Organization.


You’ll own building efficiencies that empower the rest of the creative organization. Your daily responsibilities will revolve around taking a creative direction/ asset from either the Studio, Growth or Motion creative teams, and delivering a full fledged localized campaign across different mediums, sizes, regions and file types. You will also be helping to build guidelines/rulebooks for internal and external stakeholders so that they can deliver the same level of consistency across campaigns and projects. You are able to view campaigns holistically and own the execution down to the smallest requests.


Leading in your role isn't working on your own, though - you’ll have peers, leaders and mentors available to help when needed as you innovate your way to delivering results and supporting others.


Where and how we work:

We are a global, diverse group across age, gender, and race and offer a truly flexible and family friendly work environment. Kids, pets and the occasional delivery person are all actively encouraged to appear on our Zoom screens. All of us at Linktree work either fully remote or a hybrid "remote and in-office sometimes" approach and that will continue even when COVID is behind us.

We currently have offices in Melbourne, Sydney with LA coming next but our team is spread across Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, USA, Canada, Ireland and Nigeria.


Being globally distributed doesn't mean you need to change your time zone, and we offer autonomy and flexibility in how you structure your days and weeks. There will be the need for some collaboration outside of a "normal" 9-5 as we are a global company, but we aim to work asynchronously where possible.


This role can be based anywhere in Australia or the United States.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience as an artworker or production designer at a brand, media company, or agency
  • A person who is exceptionally detail oriented and able to deliver work quickly and precisely.
  • Diverse art production skills across industries with a focus on typography, color, and layout.
  • Someone who can take one or two creative pieces from another creative, and translate it across a wide range of asset sizes and use cases.
  • Expertise with the Adobe suite and Figma (components, variations, auto-layout).
  • Experience building localized content/ creative.
  • Deep understanding of design, layout, typography, and color.
  • Someone comfortable with ambiguity, because when 30,000 people sign up everyday, there’s a lot of things to design
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of deliverable sizes, concepts, and executions.
