UX Lead

Apriwell is a digital consumer healthcare service based in Berlin. We set out to reimagine healthcare and make it more effective, more accessible, more convenient, and yes, more fun! How? Our vertically-integrated care platform powers a human-first, end-to-end healthcare experience that provides modern consumers with a complete solution for their chronic condition.

The Apriwell app guides our users in their daily lives. It engages them to implement evidence-based interventions. Engaged users who follow the guides in a short session daily experience improved outcomes faster. However, it requires much more than just information to make behavior change happen. As our UX designer your job is to make the experience delightful and entertaining in order to keep users engaged for the long term. Your job directly contributes to the well-being of our users and the success of Apriwell.

Your mission

  • You will work on designing the service and users experience in such a way that it is accepted by our users. The result is that they reach their goals and are engaged over the long-term. You approach UX in a playful, interesting, surprising and humorous way.
  • You incorporate user and business goals into your decision making. Using internal and external resources, you will lead the efforts of continuously raising engagement and translating your research to testable experiments.
  • You develop a deep understanding and empathy for our users using quantitative and qualitative techniques. You will clearly communicate their needs and expectations thereby contributing to decisions taken from product to marketing.
  • You identify opportunities to improve our service across offline and online, web and app working together with our medical experts, product team and top management.
  • You will be part of the prioritization process and take part in specifying the solutions.

Your profile

  • You have a deep understanding of what drives user engagement from a user, system and business perspective to consumer services.
  • You have developed a strong sense of design and create products / services that delight and engage users for a long time.

  • You work in a structured way and keep your eye on the big picture without losing sight of the details.
  • You're at the forefront of consumer trends and new technologies.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You have at least 4 years of professional experience in UX, including working on digital consumer services.
  • Bonus points for: Experience with consumer subscription, casual games, HCI, serious games and German language skills.
