At ADAZA we are building a marketplace for freelance sales people that let’s them sell innovative products from fast growing technology companies.

The gig economy is taking off and there are many offerings for different types of freelance workers, but nothing yet for one of the most challenging and important types of work – Sales. With ADAZA, we’re changing that.

ADAZA is an internal startup within SAP, and as one of the early members of this small, high velocity team (you’ll be employee number 5!), you’ll experience the intense challenges, growth and learning opportunities that come with building a start up business from scratch…but with the security and stability of having SAP, the world’s leading enterprise software company, as a parent company. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of this seed-stage, pre-Series A startup.

As the Product Design Lead and a key member of the core team you will design an experience that attracts and engages high performing freelance sales people. The ADAZA platform will let sales people:

• Demonstrate their sales skills and build their reputation
• Learn about new products they can sell, using latest online techniques
• Sell more productively – with easy to use tools and smart recommendations on the best way to move a deal forward
• View their commissions and get paid online

It’s a big problem space, and your challenge will be to work with the team and users to determine what will make the most impact and allow for the most validated learning in the shortest amount of time. And then design and build an app and experience that will delight and wow users!

You will be responsible for the full range of user experience design: research, ideation, information architecture, wire framing, visual design, prototyping and testing.

The team has full creative freedom when it comes to design and technical approach and is free to use the latest innovations and technology in building the solution. This is a very high impact, hands on role - you will be very close to development, working in quick agile cycles. You will see the designs you create implemented very quickly and learn rapidly from users what works and what doesn’t.

ADAZA is based in SAP’s Silicon Valley campus. We are funded by SAP.io, a group focused on creating massively disruptive businesses by using venture-capital approaches to building start-ups. SAP’s Chief Design Officer and his core design team are also in the same location. (SAP is committed to a design-centric focus, with 650+ designers worldwide and 10+ Red Dot awards in the past year alone.)
