Valerie Paragas

Hi, I’m Valerie! 🙂

I am a UX/UI designer based in Seattle.

I have over five years of research experience in molecular biology and I love to use my analytic and creative brain to optimize systems with innovative ideas. In my current biotech industry, I have collaborated with scientists and laboratory staff to create a ticket system for broken lab equipment and helped with an intern project with Adaptive Biotech’s UX team to onboard a new design system.

Apart from biotech, I have also made an app to gamify the event space, streamlined a recipe app, and currently helping with W2 onboarding for a Canadian Gig App (check out the rest of my portfolio for more details). I am always looking for challenging work spaces to stretch my limits and bring out new and fun ideas!
