24 — Dizzy
The penny finally dropped. Posters that I had glanced over, showing the sky raining these bombs down. Cities lying in ruin. I’d been sat upon one of these bombs, I’d seen how devastating they can be at a small scale.
I start to feel dizzy. How many other cities hadn’t been as lucky as this one. Had the population evacuated to another city, only to be hit there? Did some stay and have to look up at the bomb above them, like Damocles sword stuck in stasis.
Dust is starting to build in my visor, the red light for low levels of oxygen has been on for a few hours now. I start to think of the woman with the beasts. How did she survive?
