    tried several variations and this was the best one. When the are all connected or become one color it looks funky. Even two colors on top of each other look a little strange. This is a really rough comp, it's a 5 minute hatchet job.

    It is hard to further compress it, I agree. One thing I looked at was combining I and P differently -- hollow the areas where they overlap and not use gaps. Some variation of this idea actually work, but I couldn't figure out a way to combine 7Z with IP, it just makes the whole thing either too bulky or illegible.
