SENIOR DESIGNER

The Progressive Change Campaign Committee (BoldProgressives.org) seeks a talented designer for web and print projects. The position is virtual and can be done from anywhere.

With nearly a million members, our mission is to change the world by changing who holds power -- including leading the "Draft Elizabeth Warren For Senate" campaign. Our robust political activism includes training, technology, issue advocacy, and electoral work. With so many aspects of our fast-paced work, there is never a dull moment.

We need a Senior Designer to join our team. Responsibilities will include:

Graphic Design
The Senior Designer makes sure that all PCCC activism has a consistent look and feel. This may include:
  • Online ad design
  • Graphics for emails
  • Social media content (posters, infographics)
  • Branding for events (Rallies, vigils, petition deliveries)

UI/UX Design
The Senior Designer produces mockups and storyboards for PCCC’s web development team. CSS skills are a plus. Responsibilities in this area may include:

  • Creating beautiful, clean user interfaces for our political software
  • Making variations on mockups to show different user actions
  • Annotating mockups with intended functionality
  • Critiquing existing designs solutions and mocking up improvements
  • Keeping the list of approved mockups current for our biggest projects
Design Team Collaborations
The Senior Designer occasionally works on larger projects that are design intensive. Some examples include:
  • Advocacy microsites
  • Fundraising documents
  • Big integrated print and web campaigns for candidates or issues
Other Roles
The PCCC is a small team where staff members often wear many hats, so you should be flexible, interested in progressive advocacy, and willing to try new things.

ABOUT THE PROGRESSIVE CHANGE CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE (BoldProgressives.org

Founded in January 2009, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) is a national grassroots organization with a mission of building progressive power. With nearly one million members, we help bold progressive candidates elected and work with them to govern progressively. MSNBC’s Ed Schultz calls the PCCC “the top progressive group in the country.” The Nation magazine awarded PCCC “Most Valuable Campaign of 2011” for our Draft Elizabeth Warren campaign. In 2012, we raised over $1 million for Warren, raised over $2.5 million overall for progressive candidates, and had over 30 bold progressive victories. We focus on economic populism and democracy issues -- including expanding Social Security benefits, Wall Street reform and accountability, and bold campaign finance reform.

The Progressive Change Campaign Committee is dedicated to the achievement of equality of opportunity for all its employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, age, national origin or disability status.
