Eric Sylvester

Most of my work displays bright vibrant colors and clean crisp graphics. My major influence and guide when creating art is nostalgia for my hometown of Miami and its Deco architecture, neon lights, pastel colors, and lush natural environments. My Cuban heritage and the city’s pop culture during the 80’s and 90’s are also significant sources of inspiration. My hope for the art I create is to convey a feeling of happiness, warmth, and wonder. I want my art to be a call to action for people to daydream and fantasize about escaping the everyday struggles and realities of our times.
