Kicked out of the planetary lineup? Pluto doesn’t care. The icy dwarf planet is receiving more media attention than all eight proper planets, thanks to amazing images being sent back to Earth from New Horizons.

The NASA space probe was launched in 2006, and currently is conducting a six-month flyby study of Pluto and its moons. In addition to showing the world Pluto’s face, up close and in color, the mission team, which includes members from a slew of organizations, has also identified four previously unknown Plutonian moons: Nix, Hydra, Stix and Kerberos.

Dribbblers have always been fond of space shots. Below, 9 from the last six months.
