May saw 14 Dribbble meetups in 10 countries. Almost 1,500 of you attended! There were some BIG Dribbble meetups this month including Pixel Dribbble in Tel Aviv and the Moscow Dribbble Meetup in Russia! June is going strong with meetups already in Saint Louis, Portsmouth, Boulder, Tirana, Pune, and many others. Pixel Dribbble in Tel Aviv, Israel
From Pixel Dribbble organizer, Sagi Shrieber: “Nearly 300 designers attended the second Pixel Dribbble Exhibition event in Israel, made by HackingUI, Pixel Perfect Magazine, and sponsored by SimilarWeb. The event took place in Tel Aviv and the attendees enjoyed the exhibition as well as professional lectures, cool giveaways, and lots of food and drinks.” Check out the summary and all the pictures here.
Miami Dribbble Meetup
From organizer Luis La Torre: “We had around 20-25 people at this Miami meetup. We had a ‘designathon’ where we split up into groups to create work for fictional accounts.”
ATX Dribbble @ Easy Tiger
Ninety people showed up for Austin’s 23rd meetup, sponsored by Idean. Organizer Sophie Shepherd said, “This meetup was super fun. Every time we have a meetup, I’m reminded how much I love Austin and our Dribbble community.”
Shenzhen, China
Shenzhen had a great first meetup with about 70 designers in attendance. They had three speakers share more about their design focus. Check out work by each speaker: zuo, Zaotang, and linchicheng.
Mumbai @ Crowdfire
From the folks at Crowdfire after the first Mumbai meetup: “Designers from different parts of India flew down to the Crowdfire HQ to be a part of ‘Mumbbbai’, the first ever Dribbble Mumbai festival. They conducted an interesting doodle workshop on Snapchat. We also had fun activities like an analog playoff, photo booth, and rebound running in different parts of the office. People networked, learned, partied, and left with a swag bag and promise of keeping in touch. You can read more about it on Crowdfire stories and check out the pictures here.”
Jakarta @ Traveloka Jakarta HQ
From organizer Iswanto Arif: “The event was the first Dribbble meetup in Jakarta. There were around 60+ designers who joined us. We had designers fly from different places in Indonesia in additon to the Jakarta community. Most of the designers have UI experience, but some also have an illustration background. We had great talks by two well known designers in Indonesia, Tommy Chandra and Richard Fang. We had plenty of snacks and a little design challenge. We had a great time and everyone is looking forward for the second Jakarta Dribbble Meetup.”
Facebook + Dribbble Meetup in Chicago @ Birch Road Cellar
Chicago Dribbblers enjoyed a conversation with Dan Cederholm and Jon Lax, the Design Director at Facebook, at the May Meetup. From Facebook Designer Shali Nguyen: “We were delighted to have the opportunity to bring together the Chicago Dribbble design community. I loved hearing the war time stories from Dan and Jon’s fireside chat. We hope to do it again soon!”
Los Angeles @ Fullscreen HQ
From organizer Calvin Wilson: “This was our first meetup and we had a blast. We had around 60-70 attendees come through and hang out with us. The Fullscreen Product Design team gave a quick talk on our team and how we approach teamwork and how Dribbble has helped shape our process. We had games, pizza and beer and met some rad people!”
Moscow @ Mail.ru
Moscow’s 4th annual Dribbble Meetup, hosted by Mail.Ru, was a success! Over 700+ designers RSVPed for the event. Check out their website to see the amazing speaker lineup and see all the photos on their Facebook page.

Dublin @ Zendesk
From organizer Shane Moloney: “We had our largest turnout so far, probably bolstered by the fact that we were joined by a group of illustration students from Kent State University, Ohio, who were visiting Dublin. We also had award winning designer and illustrator, Steve Simpson, as a speaker. Food & drinks were kindly sponsored by Zendesk.”
Behance Dribbble NRW Event in Düsseldorf
The Düsseldorf Dribbble and Behance communities got together this May thanks to Kenneth Shinabery. He writes: “Behance NRW is now Behance Dribbble NRW and hosted its 11th event in Düsseldorf, Germany on May 22nd! Featuring presentations by speakers from various artistic backgrounds and graphic recorders the goal is to help creatives network, connect, share and inspire. Varaždin @ MopFest
MOP festival is a small non-profit multimedia and design festival in Varaždin, Croatia, organized by Fran Mubrin and current and former students of University North. This year they included a Dribbble meetup as part of the festivities. They had about 70 attendees.
From Fran: “The first Dribbble Meetup in Croatia was an epic event - great vibes, awesome people and lots of inspiration! Everyone watched some of the best Croatian designers on stage incuding Andrej Radišić, Marko Stupić, Marko Cvijetić, Mario Šestak, Darko Škulj, Elvis Mehmedović, Ante Matijaca, and Jakov Šuran. Everyone enjoyed discussing ideas and exchanging knowledge about design. After the meetup we had amazing interactive party!”
