Good week here at HQ. We spent Thursday with photographer Kim Indresano, gathering pics for an upcoming piece. Dan and Rich mostly behaved themselves, though the photo above would indicate otherwise. When not voguing, Dan worked on a new, three-color Scoutbook featuring our own Slack chatroom hero, Dribbbot.
We’re a little late with the applause, but Patrick delivered what was, by all Twitter accounts, a great talk at MinneBar. A sampling of the 140-character accolades: Ben Ragsdale (@bennyragsdale) — “GREAT talk on fear and failure in Dev and life by @pbyrne! Invaluable stuff for an aspiring front end dev to hear #minnebar.” Lindsi (@lindsi) — “Hands down, my favorite session of the day: @pbyrne on fear, failure, and imposter syndrome. Our new Assistant Coach Alison took over Meetups last Monday. (She started a week previous with community support.) March was our busiest Dribbble Meetup month yet. Check out all the action in the March Meetup Wrap-Up. April has been rocking, too, and Creative South continues to inspire Dribbble shots after their meetup at the conference, April 10th.
Congratulations to Auckland on their first Dribbble Meetup last week! Vend hosted with the theme “Ingredients of Good Design” — and took that quite literally, too, inviting Dribbblers to bring their favorite bagel toppings. Their meetup shot inspired 10 bagel-themed rebounds.
