Tightening up the alignment - not sure I like the title pushed to the outer edge or not, but I want it to feel BIG.

I'd focus on balancing the navigation below - might help. Other options could be to remove the background behind the navigation so that part feels less boxed in.
It may not be clear how the nav balances form this shot, but I have uploaded the 'mostly operation battle station'.
FWIW - since the nav links appear to be equally sized, I'd try centering the text in each and perhaps adding a bit more whitespace around her name.
I was going for bilateral symmetry with the nav. But maybe thats not working out.
I put this whole thing together super quickly anyways and now Jes is saying she wants a didone font and simple black and white so ... I will most likely be trashing the whole thing.
But, since we are talking about it, what are you thinking? Like the same amount of space on top and bottom of her name?
