In Filibaba's Veggie Meals, the logo sits above the content. Pulling it down controls the tongue of the logo, which licks itself as you scroll.
This was the kind of thing we came up with in close cross-disciplinary collaboration. I had animated the logo but didn't know if we should use it for anything. We already had the logo above the content, but it was only when Erik Olsson, Jenny Sundén and myself were in the same room that we came up with this usage.

This was all worth the waiting until the gif loaded haha
My favorite part of this app. (I don't cook)
That is awesome! Great idea!
how do you do smooth animations in gif ? in Photoshop?
@Ben J Animated in After Effects, exported as a .mov and then imported in Photoshop, then saved for web. That will make the framerate smooth, making it in Photoshop does not though.
Amazing. I would like to make a preloader.. would you be interested in a small work? please email me if so.
Went and downloaded the app the other day, and I just wanted to say it’s by far the very best recipe app I’ve ever used. My girlfriend is vegetarian, so this is really handy! Gorgeous app, great recipes. Send my thanks to the rest of your team, too!
@Dan Eden Dan, that's incredibly heartwarming to hear. We saw your tweet and I emailed it to the team, it made our day! Be on the look out for more tasty vegetarian cooking apps very soon…
