Sugar Land Badge Design & Keychain

The city where I live, Sugar Land, is celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year. They asked me to design a celebratory logo design for them. This is one of the designs that didn't get picked. I turned the logo into a keychain with the anniversary wording. Our city's slogan is "The Sweetest City in Texas" because it was built around a sugar plantation and factory, which then was closed down in 2003 (Imperial Sugar). The city is also known as very welcoming and it is one of the most culturally diverse towns in the US. The City Hall's Clock Tower depicted on the logo is one of the most well-known landmarks of Sugar Land.
