The way to judge the efficiency of a design can be different depending on the use case. One thing that most of the designers may neglect is since the screen resolution is different, sometimes a 100% scale on your screen is not the same as other screens. This becomes the blind spot when a digital interface designer suddenly assigned to work on print design work. It is so easy to lose the sense of space, overdesign the work.

Inverse-square law can also be applied to graphic design, the information or the design detail intensity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the viewer. This is also what we always require our team members to aware of when working on a design on different mediums.

For the Aromafaq book advertising of Siuroma, the size of the canvas is 3 meters by 4 meters and it was hung on a wall of a popular shopping mall in Taipei. Since this is a relatively large canvas, we tried to minimize the information and try to guide the visual focus on the book itself. That's why you can see the choice of the outfit is in a tint color tone and we only used two taglines on the advertising. So, we can provide a proper contrast on the design and convey the message we want.
