The Roan Horse Cafe

Madrid is very out of the way place in New Mexico, a vibrant artist, sculpture and potters' community of just a handful of people in the off season. I created this poster for the owner of an existing shop looking to expand into a Cafe. Starting with a photo of a Navajo horse from the Res, I added the color vectors in Adobe Illustrator to create something in keeping with the spirit of the animal, the artists, and the mystical setting.
