    The graphics are clearly stunning! But I would not go with that symbol for mind-mapping because I haven't seen a mind map like this.

    The bottom left idea isn't linked with the other two ideas and there is normally a topic in the middle of the mind map.

    @Mladen Scapple's take on mind-mapping is not a very traditional one. Instead of having one main thought from which all your other 'thoughts' derive, you can add new thoughts anywhere, connecting them as you go on or just leaving them there. It's quite interesting.
    The client actually insisted on this alignment and the connections of this icon.
