A web landing page for travel planning in Tokyo

Travel planning can be either tedious, complex, and time-consuming. People always want to discover the most unique experience within the city that can not be done anywhere else within limited vacation time. When discovering a new city, the overwhelming info on the website is easy to make people get lost and make users' trip planning more difficult. Therefore, this website should be fun to explore and easier to make trip plans.

The next step is to design a page for users to plan their trips. By browsing other people's travel itineraries, guide and tips written by our top bloggers, people get inspired. They can copy and paste other people's travel itineraries or add interesting spots and hidden gems they discovered in our articles to their trip plans.

This is the very first web design project I've ever done and I enjoyed the learning process. I tried to keep the design elements and design principles in mind all the time throughout the entire process of this website design, got familiar with the new design software, utilized the skills I learned to finish this landing page. There are still unlimited resources online and I can't wait to explore more to prepare myself to be a UX designer.
