SEO management interface sketches

B12 uses human-assisted AI to deliver services to our customers of small- and medium-sized businesses, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

In order to make our SEO services scalable and cost-effective for our growing customer base, we are iterating on the software that our SEO practitioners currently use. These SEO practitioners set up and maintain SEO for our customers' websites.

In addition to improving the usability and flow of the current software, we are introducing new setup / maintenance processes and leveraging more data. This way, our SEO practitioners can focus on the creative and analytical aspects of their work while the software manages the rote labor involved in generating and managing large amounts of data.

Here are my scattered notes and sketches as I design the initial wireframes. I find notebooks constraining when I am thinking through a big and complex project. I need many sheets of paper to sketch various features, interactions, and integrations. I rarely end up sketching out an entire screen. If I do, it is typically an abstract, low-fidelity collection of rectangles like those in the mid-lower right of the photo.
