Timely? Who cares. Cheesy? Maybe. At least the client has a sense of humor about this non-holiday "holiday". I'll give them that.

FYI – This type treatment was, ultimately, used as part of the header graphic of an email. I just might follow up with a rebound of it in context once the campaign has been sent.
