A is for AWARENESS 🔥

Hello world it’s me, hello hi. Seeing as our country is on fire I thought this as good a time as ever for my first Dribbble post - to spread my wings and some inspiration and some awareness and a little chunk of hope. I’ve never felt particularly proud of being an Australian, growing up on stolen land and being force fed bbqs and Alf Stewart as culture. But watching my country being completely destroyed by bushfires makes my heart break in ways I never imagined it would or could. It breaks for the koalas, for the trees, for the fireys, for the First Nations peoples, for the communities, for the landscape and for the future. The devastation is incomprehensible and the road to recovery is overwhelming. As individuals we need to be reminded everyday that every action we contribute is vital to heal and protect our broken land. So, for the next 26 days I’m going to (attempt to) use my magical skills to illustrate a simple idea that encourages you to help out in an achievable way. Also helps me in my quest to practice drawing everyday. You’ve read it here now, wish me luck or make me accountable.

A is for AWARENESS
As some of you may already know, our country is on fire. For those who don’t, our country is on fire. As our leaders make marketing jingles, we need to help those in need. Find out where you can donate and let everybody know!! Share fundraisers, share events, share statistics, share photography, share stories, share ideas, share your anger, share your blood, share your voice. The world had six degrees of separation, but thanks to social media we now have none, so spread the awareness today.
