Announcing the official release of Simple Thread's updated brand identity and website.

I drew this image to go with the announcement of Simple Thread's new site launch. I started by digging up a ton of reference images of cold war missile launch buttons and more recent custom DIY guitar pedal designs. Then I sketched a button design and built a 3d model in SketchUp. That let me draw this from very specific reference with lighting and camera angle.
