I know the icons are a little iffy, not up to scratch. Will refine them as I go on, but i'm enjoying some of my brainstorming recently. Eventually getting some of it into Photoshop.

Beautiful, love the generous margins and the modern all-caps font.
@Nick Farina Thank you sir!
I love this.
This is slick. Do you think there is enough contrast on the hover/clicked state? On cinema displays it will nice though :)
@Joel Siddall Nothing is really set in stone here, but the contrast could be better. I wanted to go for something subtle.
Looks nice mate overall, I'm a definite fan of your work.
This is sexy.
really nice! Love it!
This is how I want all my apps to look.
Really like it dude! What typeface are you using? Do I see a bit of a bevel on the sides and bottom?
I think it looks nice but UX wise I think the icons need to be a bit more bold, one would constantly need to focus to determine which tool is which.
super direction here...
I love this! So clean, yet still has depth. Great work!
Sir this is stunning! Is there a reason for not centering the "Tools" text? It would look a bit better IMO:)
James this is insanly clean and great.. I really like the way every object placed out and those icons man I want it? whats the icons?
Nice, very clean James.
I actually like the icons, very nice!
Its clean appearance and wide margins are ace, it definitely is easy on the eyes. I'm just not fond of the type treatment: the icon labels look blurry, especially at the top of the glyphs.
This is a really nice and clean menu. Here it is in code (not perfectly accurate and missing the icons).
@Phillip Gourley haha so awesome thanks man
@James ✌ No problem at all. Good luck on your project!
