A rebrand of an existing 'not for profit' organisation called 'Truth, Justice, Peace.'

'Liberating people from suffering around the world.' Although the focus is on children, it encompasses adults as well.

First draft of main idea which client has actually approved. So now its refining details, type, icons etc.

The 3 inner icons are only placeholders for now as I am developing 3 unique icons to symbolise their 3 core elements : 1) Unity of purpose 2) Truth Dissemination 3) Direct Action

The 3 icons are arranged so as to create a connected loop within/part of the world' which is represented by the inner circle.

A self enclosed logo, for the most part, is far more flexible when it comes to marketing and brand placement. It's able to sit over most graphics without any real need to worry about 'fitting in'.

Really like the overall balance of the mark, but just wonder whether on smaller applications, the strap line text might become illegible?

I would agree with Andy, really clean logo but the tag line might be a problem.

One thought, I know the icons aren't created yet but wonder if the 3 circles get's a bit busy. What if the inner circle was solid black and the icons reversed out of that instead of three individual ones.

    Very strong though.

Andy/Rob : Agreed. Although the tag line I have put in is not really a proper tag line, but whatever text does go in there needs to be less words and larger size for sure.

Rob : One of my other ideas was in fact a black inner circle with the icons, but it seemed to loose the balance and interesting arrangement that the 3 circles currently have.

Certainly will play with overall balance of the circles, text and icons in due course.

    Got your invite then :0)

  6. Revised after client comments. There was no real brief with this job, certainly no ideas on design direction, what I should or should not include. So it's been an interesting direction to take.

We now have three icons representing the 3 core meanings : Truth=Greek Torch, Justice=Scales and Peace=Dove.

The icons were tricky as with Justice and Truth, there is not a single common representative symbol.

So some research later, turns out the most common symbol for Truth is the Greek Torch. Justice came down to finding the best fitting symbol, so I chose one half of the scales, a pair would be been to small. Peace was the easier one, but a little bit of a cliché. But in the end, a familiar symbol won out.

Sometimes you have to go with the most obvious.

Each icon tweaked so that the outer boundaries followed, where possible the inner curves of the circle, the dove being the better example. Still some tweaks required to the icons, but pretty much there.

The client pretty much insisted on having a 'Unity - 3 overlapping circles' symbol incorporated, but I was initially quite hesitant. But with some tinkering, I was able to include it within the background and it actually works well. It helps 'unite' the 3 symbols together rather than having a black solid void surrounding them.

Old tag line has been simply replaced with the web address.

    Now to work on colours.
