    A or B?

FYI - these are MIDI sliders, so the values go from 0-127.

I like A but if your finger is on the button you wont be able to see the numbers

Yup, that's certainly an issue while adjusting. Maybe the numerals could shift up while a finger is on the slider? I don't know - these are purely conceptual.

Where are the (heavy) drop shadows??? ;) I say B - cause of the finger cover over the value display

I'd go with B, it looks futuristic :P and I like that about it.

Is that Proxima Nova? I'd say B, considering what @Herson Rodriguez pointed out.

I would say B from a practical point of view, but maybe with the MIDI value sitting above the draggers (so your finger wouldn't cover them). The slider could stop just short of the top with the value nestled neatly beneath and within the top of the rounded rectangles when it reaches the top. It's quite hard to explain some things!

Here's a very quick mockup of what I mean: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/581577/Midi%20Controls%20Concept.png

Thanks for the input @Andrew Cooper - you're right, I think your version is better. Cheers.
