I designed two of the many shrines that Helga made in the show, Hey Arnold. This is one of them. I was a background layout artist on the show all seasons. I've started scanning my old drawings.

This is cool! I used to watch that show sometimes with my kids; I liked it. I don't think I ever saw this though...time for a web search so I can check it out! :)
WHAT! sick man.
Seriously?! That's so cool! This was one of the best cartoons to come out of the 90s/early 2000s. And the backgrounds were always great. ;)
@Laurie A. Conley Thanks. I believe many of the episodes are on Netflix streaming. At least, they used to be.
@Kyle Culps @Damaris Alfonso - Thanks for the good words. I was fortunate to help make a great show.
I loved watching Hey Arnold! I also have it on Netflix for nostalgic purposes. :) This is great!!!

The backgrounds in Hey Arnold were always so good! Seriously, that show made my childhood.
Thanks for all the great comments. I'll dig up some other old Arnold drawings to post. I did some fun storyboard work too.

Here's one of my favorite backgrounds I designed for Hey Arnold back in the 90s. I liked doing these non-descript cityscapes that weren't necessarily key shots. This was a short diagonal pan, hence the odd shape.
If you can see the 2x, you'll get all the gritty detail.

A rough drawing for an Arnold shrine that never made it to final production. See the full drawing with funny details here.
