The idea behind our action button is to have all settings related the unit stored in the browser until it's time to save it. We don't want to wear and tear the unit's memory more than needed so we gather the settings like a shopping cart. When you have a pending setting the action button will (not yet implemented) slowly glow in green + having the number of settings pending in the badge. Once you hit the save button (or if you have opt:ed in CTRL+S) you will see a list of all these OLD vs NEW settings (if you haven't opt:ed out of that). More on that in later examples.
