Cherrydale

Logo concept for the church I've been attending for the last 9 years. Instead of going the cliched route of a cross or bible, I decided on (with help from church members) a stylized version of the current Cherrydale logo, the community where the church was founded (http://c.drm.io/image/0x2g3c1G1j1a).

I wanted a logo with a natural, organic feel to it, plus a mark that had symbolism in the bible (there are many parallels to trees in the bible, see Jer 17:8, Ps 1:3, Matt 17:7).
