    If anyone ever wondered why they use these Clapperboards in filmmaking. Picked this up from a making of and it's so freaking cool to know. When they record video and audio separately, it helps them to sync video + sound afterwards. The frame where the clapstick smashes against the board marks the sync point in video, while the loud clap on the audio channels marks it for audio.
