Noon Lighting App Redesign

The brief: Determine the problem that is of the highest priority for improving a user's experience with the product, and come up with a solution to fix it.

The problem: The biggest problem and the one I chose to address is the lack of status and feedback. Even on the physical switches, there are so many different lights that blink. On the app you never really know if the light switches are trying to connect or not.

The solution: The solution I came up with was to:

1. Provide better language on the instructions when setting up a new switch.

2. Provide animations to show the user exactly how long to press and hold the switch before it will start connecting.

3. Provide language and a status bar explaining where the user was in the process of setting up a new switch.
