So nice. I really digg on column 2, row 3. You sunk my battleship.

At first glance I think the /sh/ pair is too filled in at the bottom and maybe a bit to open at the top?

How does one choose a favorite? I love the more swishy versions, but the middle column is probably a good compromise between decoration and legibility.

@Tiffany I think you're right about the _sh_ pair. I could give the _s_ a bit more aggressive angle, which I think is traditionally the case, anyways. There is a lot going on in that corner, optically. I'll be sorting out details, once the client picks an iteration. Any other thoughts/ideas are appreciated!

I agree with second row, third down. I really love your work in this, though Dave. I'm just partial to the flourishes on that particular one! :)

Smexy! Second column, bottom pair are winning. Dude, my brain wants so badly to connect the tail of the 'Q' to the descender of the 'y'. I dig the interplay there, even with it disconnected.

@Joshua I tried a few different lower swash/ligature combos, but most of them made the Qlty even more of a focus (it's already quite dark in color and such is why I opted to "fill in" the hole in Kush with a flourish on the K) The client asked for something a bit reserved, but I wanted him to see why an extended arm of the K works to the overall word shape/color's benefit.

Well, client rejected all of them. Now for something completely different...
