(REBOUND THIS IF YOU HATE THE LOGO OF A PRODUCT YOU LOVE, WITH AN IMPROVED ONE)
so I'm actually producing music on a part-time base, most of the time with FL studio 10 (formerly known as Fruity Loops), but I really hate their logo.
it feels like it's stuck in the 1990's, a carrot full of gradients & shadows. (look at the attachment)
imo they could really consider a logo redesign, and maybe even consider ditching that carrot!
this is a first concept of how I would actually see this brand in a professional light! the idea is that it not only represent subtile loops, it also symbolizes interface elements like knobs or something like touch-sensitive input fields. it's very versatile on it's own, in a video they could even sync and bounce to the beat in a inner-circle manner!
the colors might be a discussion topic, but you definetely get the point.
if you don't know anything about FL Studio, visit http://www.image-line.com/documents/flstudio.html and watch the video at the top.
look at the attachment for another concept, and their current logo.
