I'm not good at logos, let me admit that upfront. However, I still want to sharpen my skill set so I took a stab at it. Rough draft, got frustrated and left it alone.

I just really enjoyed these colors and wanted to use them somehow.

I want to see that little bubble letterpressed or raised a bit. It's drawing more attention than the words currently as it's a bright, flat color on the canvas.

You should play with the kerning (spacing between letters). Often it can be helpful to flip it upside down so you're looking at it instead of reading it.

The B is too far from the R compared to the distance between the R and the I. I see this like B RIM.

Also, what is the logo for? Context is everything when it comes to logos. :)

Full company name is called 'Brim Labs'. It would be a tech company.

Thanks for all the advice, when I get some more time I'll take another crack at it with the ideas you guys suggest.
