I was contracted by the marketing director of my church (C3 San Diego) to lead the redesign efforts on their website last year. The main goal was to create a simpler to navigate website as the other site was very bloated and had messy navigation patterns. To clean up navigation I utilized google analytics data to find out the top navigated/searched pages and we populated the main navigation at the top with those destinations. The rest of the navigation links exists in the mega menu which opens up based on clicking the hamburger menu icon in the upper right corner.
We chose to utilize Wordpress as they currently have multiple sites based on it for different events and ministries. The original design and layouts are all my work. Some of the assets have changed throughout the past year as they have updated it. But all my design work remains intact including layouts and color applications.
