Gotham: Poster Series

This project explored the differences between what could be iconic or symbolic by using the characters from the Batman comic. The content was chosen based on their impact on pop–culture and for the rich character histories. The posters are screen printed on sheet metal to follow a theme of Gotham City, and paired with a symbol relevant to each character. The characters were illustrated in such a way to where only the bare essentials are present to make up the image. The symbols were created to represent a characters ideals, history, or motives. An example would be a puzzle piece to represent the Riddler's obsession with leaving clues for the police to follow. You can check out all 20 posters on my website poster above!
