Updated the KU Jayhawk. The biggest change here is the addition of the long legs of the 1912 Jayhawk logo.

As I post this I see a few updates already, but I'll wait to see what the dribbblesphere has to say first.

Just a concept for the Jayhawks.

    Boredom, really.

Cool, yeah the only thing I see that is awkward is the top of the tail. The legs make it come off a bit feminine so I think if you added like a bow in the hair or something, it could be a sweet "Lady Jayhawks" logo of some sort.

As a KU alum this is all kinds of awesome!!
Really like the idea of incorporating some of the previous Jayhawks in a modernized version of the logo as part of what makes KU unique is its tradition. Ever thought of also tackling a "mean" Jayhawk? I think alot of people in KS would like to see one for athletics.

Hi, saw your post on reddit. I like it!

I think it would be more successful if the line weight was more consistent throughout the whole thing. The areas to look at are the top of the head, back of the head, and bottom of the beak. The KU letters don't work with it either. You'd have to think of what it would look like shrunk down to a much smaller size, will those letters be legible? I think the best parts of it right now are the wing and the legs, gives it a nice sense of depth.
