Crucible Coffee Roasters 1

Last year I got to work on the branding for Crucible Coffee, and now that they’ve finally opened their doors, I thought it would be a good time to show some of it. They were going for an aesthetic that referenced metalworking and blue-collar American heritage, blended with a bit of traditional Japanese influence—both factors in their origin story.

The look is inspired by Japanese Kamon, coppersmithing, and of course coffee plants.
